Privacy Policy
Cookies and Traffic Data
Cookies are small text files which are transferred from our website, product or service and stored on your computer’s hard drive. They are widely used to help websites work more efficiently and to provide general usage information to site owners. We are currently looking into improving our privacy policy and how cookies are managed on our website, so please check back for updates.
Types of Cookies
Session Cookies – We use session cookies on our websites and in some of our products or services to identify and track users, remember shopping basket contents (where relevant), and remember customer information used during transactions. These may include your customer account number, company name and email address. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser or end your session.
Persistent Cookies – These enable our website, product or service to remember you and your preferences after you close your browser or leave your session.
Web Analytics and Similar Services – Our website uses analytics cookies to recognise and count visitor numbers and monitor navigation throughout the website. This helps us improve your experience. We also use web beacons or pixels to track visits from advertisements and to collect non-identifying product purchase data. While you cannot refuse web beacons, you can restrict them by disabling cookies in your browser settings.
We log traffic data automatically through our server. This includes your IP address, the site you visited before ours, the site you visit after, and general usage statistics like access rates and page views. No individual is identifiable from this data.
Emails, Posts and Social Media
We reserve the right to repost extracts from emails and social media posts on public platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Trustpilot, Reviews.io, Facebook and Twitter. We will not publish names, phone numbers, email addresses or any other personally identifiable information. We will not repost any image that includes identifiable backgrounds or location information, but we cannot take responsibility for embedded GPS data within images sent to us. Any image or content sent to us is accepted as royalty-free, and copyright enforcement will not be accepted later. We may repost reviews or communications to defend ourselves, but we will still avoid revealing personal identities.
