Description
The FuseBox RTAMB06BD is a 6A Type B bidirectional RCBO designed to provide combined protection against overloads, short circuits, and earth leakage faults within electrical installations. Installed within a consumer unit or distribution board, the RCBO automatically disconnects the circuit if a fault occurs, helping protect wiring, equipment, and users from electrical hazards.
With a 30 mA residual current sensitivity, this RCBO provides enhanced protection against electric shock. Its Type A classification allows detection of both AC residual currents and pulsating DC currents generated by modern electronic devices and appliances.
The device features a compact single-module design with 1P+N switching, meaning both the live and neutral conductors are disconnected for added safety. Its bidirectional capability makes it suitable for installations where current may flow in either direction, such as systems incorporating solar PV or energy storage.
