When an alarm in the interconnected system is triggered, the relay module activates connected external devices such as strobe lights, control panels, door release mechanisms, or telecare systems, helping improve safety and response during emergencies.

The unit operates on a 230V mains power supply and includes tamper-proof rechargeable lithium cells that provide battery backup in the event of a power failure. These cells are designed to last up to 10 years and can keep the relay operating for up to two months without mains power, ensuring continued functionality during outages.

Designed for flexible installation, the Ei128RBU can be fitted underneath compatible alarm bases or mounted remotely using the supplied cover. Its volt-free contacts allow it to integrate easily with a wide range of safety and signalling devices.
