Description
The Ei146 Optical Smoke Alarm is a dependable fire detection device designed to provide early warning of smoke and potential fire hazards. Powered by a 230V mains supply with a replaceable 9V alkaline battery backup, the alarm ensures continuous protection even during power outages.
Featuring an advanced optical (photoelectric) smoke sensor, the alarm quickly detects smoke particles produced by slow-smouldering fires, such as those caused by electrical faults or burning furniture. When smoke is detected, the built-in 85dB sounder activates to provide a clear warning so occupants can respond quickly.
The alarm includes an Easi-fit mounting base for quick installation and can be interconnected with other compatible alarms, allowing multiple units to sound together when one alarm is triggered.
