The Ei168RC RadioLINK Alarm Base is designed to enable wireless interconnection between compatible Ei Electronics smoke and heat alarms. This mains-powered base replaces the standard mounting plate and allows alarms to communicate using RadioLINK technology, ensuring that when one alarm detects danger, all interconnected alarms in the system sound simultaneously.
Powered by a 230V mains supply with a rechargeable lithium battery backup, the base continues to operate even during power failures. Its wireless communication removes the need for additional wiring between alarms, helping reduce installation time while maintaining a reliable and secure alarm network.
The Ei168RC also supports remote test, locate, and silence functions when used with compatible accessories, making it easier to manage and maintain interconnected alarm systems. The built-in house coding feature ensures signals are limited to the designated system, preventing interference from nearby installations.
