The Ei3016 Optical Smoke Alarm is a high-performance fire detection device from the Ei Electronics 3000 Series, designed to provide reliable early warning of smoke and potential fire hazards. Powered by a 230V mains supply, the alarm also includes a rechargeable 10-year lithium battery backup, ensuring continuous protection even during power failures.
Featuring a high-performance optical smoke sensor, the Ei3016 is particularly effective at detecting slow-smouldering fires such as those caused by electrical faults, upholstery, or overheated wiring. Its intelligent design includes automatic dust compensation and an integrated insect screen, helping reduce nuisance alarms and maintain reliable performance over time.
The alarm includes built-in AudioLINK technology, allowing users to extract alarm data and system information directly to a smartphone via the AudioLINK app. It can also be interconnected with other alarms through hard-wired connections or wirelessly using the optional Ei3000MRF SmartLINK module, ensuring all alarms sound together when one is triggered.
